About Billings Appliance Repair

Independent techs, honest diagnosis, and a written quote before a single part goes in — built for a shift-work city where the appliance schedule has to bend to yours.

Why We Exist

Billings is the biggest city in Montana and the trade hub for half the state — the appliance showrooms here sell machines to households from Miles City to Red Lodge. But when one of those machines breaks, the service side thins out fast: factory routes that treat eastern Montana as a scheduling problem, national dispatchers reading addresses off a screen two time zones away, and windows built for the route rather than the customer. Billings Appliance Repair was built to be the other option: an independent local service, a person on the phone, and scheduling that respects refinery rotations, hospital shifts, and everyone else who can't sit home from eight to five.

How We Work

Diagnosis first, always. The technician tests the unit — meter readings, error codes, brand service data — and then you get a written quote for the exact repair before any work begins: part, labor, total. Approve it and most repairs finish the same visit. Decline it and you owe only the diagnostic. No hourly meter, no mystery invoice lines, no parts you didn't sign off on.

And we're honest about the repair-or-replace question. A newer front-loader with a bad drain pump is an easy repair call; a fifteen-year-old freestanding fridge with a failed sealed system usually isn't, and we'll say so before you spend real money proving it. In a one-county business, the referral is worth more than the repair.

The Brands We Work On

Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Maytag, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Bosch, Amana, Kenmore, Speed Queen, InSinkErator, and most other residential brands in Montana kitchens and laundry rooms — from the smart-panel kitchens going into new West End builds to the mechanical workhorses still running in midtown and out in the county. Wherever you bought it, we service it.

Where We Work

All of Billings — the Heights, the West End, and downtown and midtown — plus Lockwood, Laurel, and the rural routes across Yellowstone County: Shepherd, Huntley, Worden, Ballantine, Broadview, Acton, and Molt. Not sure about your address? Call (406) 625-4316 — the answer is almost always yes.
